Issue Position

If you have already read through MY PLAN, you already know my views on this topic. If you have yet to do so I encourage you read through it.

In brief, I agree with the majority of our country in that both sides of the aisle in Washington have run our economy into the ground through their special interest abuse and waste. We are witnessing an estimated $1 Trillion every year (or more) wasted on badly failing programs that many argue were never meant to succeed. They are simply "shell" companies in place so that elected politicians can return favors to those large donors, PAC's and special interest groups that supported their campaigns. They do so through Earmarks, "Trojan Horse" legislation, pork projects and backroom deals. But these same elected representatives have no problem shutting down much needed programs during their "government shut-downs" so that we feel the pains at home and in turn support more taxes.

My plan will clean this gigantic mess up and in turn invest hundreds of Billions, of tax revenues already in the system, into real programs that need the funding to do more and to pay down our debts and balance our budgets every year. We must stop the fiscal bleeding and my plan is the remedy that will also unite many voters, both left and right leaning.
